If there are any issues with either of the above please let Eli Pitchers know.

 Health & Safety

Shell Scheme Stands:
All shell scheme stands must complete the Health & Safety Declaration form, no later than Friday 4th September.

Space Only Stands:
All space only exhibitors are required to submit full dimensional stand design drawings. Plans must be in English to a recognised scale no less that 1:50 and be submitted by Friday 22nd August. They should be clearly marked REF: Construction EXPO and sent together with complete Space Only Stand Information to Eli Pitchers.

All space only stands plans must be accompanied by a Risk Assessment and Method Statement covering the build up and breakdown activities.

This year there will be a slightly different process in place, whereby, we will need to send documentation over to an external supplier for approval so there will be a delay in approvals as they could take 1-2 weeks. Please do not approve any stand build before it has recieved approval from the team.

 Internet Access

We are currently finalising and optimising the WiFi and hard-wired internet setup for the Kent Construction EXPO.

Free of charge unsupported wireless internet is available for all exhibitors. Please note this service is suitable for web browsing only.

If you have a more advanced internet requirement please contact emily@revolution-events.com to discuss. Please note advanced requirements must be discussed no later than Friday 4th September.

Housekeeping Notes:

To ensure that the wireless connections we provide work as intended we request that exhibitors do not bring their own individual wireless devices with them, as these can interfere with our network  There is a wireless network consisting of over 20 access points all managed by a central unit. This unit will manage the channel that each access point uses to ensure interference and channel overlap is kept to a minimum however if third party wireless devices that are not managed by the central unit are onsite the wireless network will start to degrade.

Whilst the wireless internet service we provide is suitable for web browsing we strongly recommend that exhibitors do not solely rely on internet based activities for their stand. Similarly we strongly recommend that any exhibitors wishing to show internet based activities bring a cache (offline) version with them as backup as well.

Internet usage is actively monitored during the event to help maintain fair and stable access for all exhibitors and visitors.

 Workshop Sessions (if booked)

Workshop sessions will take place throughout the halls.

Each seminar room will be equipped with the following AV and technical equipment:

  • Screen
  • Projector
  • Laptop
  • Lectern
  • PA/Speaker System
  • Wireless Headphones (in all rooms except the Astor)

Please note that all workshop rooms are accessible via the main halls, they are purpose built rooms with half height walling overlooking the exhibition space or in marquees along the perimeter of the hall. For this reason we provide wireless headphones to all delegates to help with any noise disturbance from the stands. If this will effect your session in any way please get in contact with us so that we can discuss the options with you.

The majority of rooms will be set up in Theatre Style.

If you have any advanced requirements e.g. internet connection, use of an Apple laptop, video playback, for your seminar session please let Bree Pace know prior to arriving on site no later than Friday 4th September.

For back up purposes we recommend emailing a copy of your presentation (in PPT or PDF format) to lois@revolution-events.com prior to the event.
